When is the best time to visit to PowellsWood?

Spring, Summer, and early Fall are the most popular seasons to visit for the flowers and foliage. That said, PowellsWood is designed for four seasons of botanical interest. PowellsWood Garden director, Justin Henderson, is a huge fan of summer at PowellsWood, when the perennial border is full and the tropical plants are lush throughout. The nature preserve makes for a tranquil visit anytime of year.
