The PowellsWood Storytelling Festival is coming to town July 26–27, 2013!
The Festival returns to the garden this summer for its second spellbinding year. Here’s your chance to listen to master storytellers, or to hone your own storytelling skills. Storytelling for children’s groups will also be on hand.
CBS featured the PowellsWood Festival in a special report on storytelling last fall. Click here to watch it. Federal Way Mirror journalist Andy Hobbs describes the Festival as a “fairy tale come true,” an opportunity for the community “to sample culture and nature, right here at home.” The term most used by adults and children alike is… magical!
The centerpiece is a full day of telling on Saturday, July 27:
